Octave Temperature Switch Housing Cover for UP! Mini Extruder Assembly
thingiverse
The Octave Temperature Switch was initially designed for Afinia and UP! Plus 3D printers to reduce nozzle temperature by 30 degrees without invasive modifications. However, its compatibility extends to UP! Mini's extruder, except for the switch housing bracket and UP! Plus extruder cover reliant on the Octave switch. This can lead to an unattractive hanging of the switch during printing, especially in fast modes. To remedy this, follow our step-by-step images guide to assemble an extruder cover that keeps adaptor cables out of sight while keeping the assembly compact. The cover is also compatible with Afinia and UP! Plus's extruder assemblies. Ensure the switch knob is away from the nub before slipping it through the opening between I and O markings, then slide it upward to lock in place. To secure the PCB connector, align it with the connector opening of the cover and close the extruder cover to the extruder cable box. If your assembly doesn't resemble our featured image, repeat the steps until successful.
