Octane's stim is back! now updated design, for an unnecessarily fancy thumbdrive with lights (because we luv lights) Not interested in a thumbdrive stim? head over to this link for the first prop version: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:4302470 NOTES!!! bottom logo: similar to "lock", but with a logo, because that's there ._. for attaching "cap" when you take it off to plug the USB in bottom: this is where your main thumbdrive and LED is in, I used a sandisk thumbdrive (amazon link below) that's cracked open, the module is smol enough to fit in there. wire up the LED and thumbdrive in parallel, LED requires a 100 ohm resistor two rectangles sticking up, to align with "body" body: has two rectangle holes below to align with "bottom" holes! small middle hole is for a 5mm diameter LED, small side hole is for the USB cable through the body used a "neon" green acrylic tube 25mm OD (any ID is gud), cut a line at the small side hole to hide the cable sand the acrylic inside, 200 grit max, for gud light diffusion white and green LEDs are gud, but a blue LED makes the green acrylic really pop lock: similar to "bottom logo", but with a hole at the side for (you guessed it) the USB cable, align with the cut in the acrylic tubing and small side hole in "body" NOTE: "lock" is designed to hold "cap" in place, so you have to do some manual alignment, with sufficient space for the cap to lock in cap: the USB cable will be stored in here, so umm, find a nice USB cable head I personally used paint markers and spray paint for the colours, and then matte clear coat stuff post a make! I'd love to see your iteration!
