Octagony
thingiverse
You're wondering what happens when you multiply an octagon by itself four times? You get octagony! To put it in a more precise way, you're dealing with the fourth power of an octagon. To create this design, you'll need to print one solid bracket and eight separate wedges. I use 100% infill for the bracket as it requires strength. The wedges, however, will require some support due to their steep angle - a full 67.5 degrees. Keep in mind that the connectors don't provide as much grip as I had hoped, so proceed with caution. If you're feeling adventurous, perhaps you can modify it to your liking.
