Octagonal Tudor table

Octagonal Tudor table

thingiverse

This is a design inspired by a drawing of a table of the period. It is 70mm tall. The top needs to be made by hand and glued into position. I used two layers of Plasticard. The base octagon should be printed with supports touching the buildplate, to create the stretchers. The turned legs should be printed upright with brims to stop them falling. The decor pieces should be printed flat for best detailing. Parts should be pegged together using kebab sticks or similar and the glue I use (for PLA) is Plastic Weld, a thin solvent type glue that works well.
