This is a Tsuba, or hand protector, designed for a training wooden sword with an octagonal shape. I created it using the Pakwa symbol, which consists of eight trigrams, as it holds significant meaning in my regular practice of Haedong Kum Do and Tae Kwon Do, two martial arts I actively engage in.
