Ocie's Lightbar Bracket (Prusa MK2 & MK3)
thingiverse
Yet another LED lightbar bracket for the Prusa MK2, MK2S, MK2.5, MK3 printer. I really love having a LED lightbar mounted right out in front of the extruder motor at the top of the Z axis. I've been using one of the models that incorporates the bracket into the Z-Top brackets. However, I wanted to tweak the hole size on my Z-tops so the rods fit tighter and didn't want to remake the Z-top with integrated bracket from scratch. To be honest, editing STLs is something I truly hate. So I designed a new bracket that goes over the top of the Z-tops and attaches to the backside of the Z frame using the 4 Z-top screws. You will need to swap the stock screws (M3x8ish) for longer ones. Any M3 screw 14mm or longer will work, you'll just need 4 of them and 4 M3 nuts. Well, you could get by with just two. Prints without support and the part is perfectly symmetrical, so all you have to do is print two and mount one on each side. As always, STEP and native Solidworks files are attached in addition to the STL. UPDATE 14-May-2018: Here's the link to the lightbar that I bought - although I believe most of them are the same size: http://a.co/0Vdw9mJ
