Occupational Therapy Stylus for Quadriplegic
myminifactory
This adapter is designed for Quadriplegic users who lack finger mobility, but retain arm and wrist mobility. A standard OT sleeve can accommodate this pin. The OT sleeve is a material strap that wraps around the palm with an inner sleeve to hold a spoon, knife, or stylus in place. An apple pencil or regular stylus can be securely attached afterwards. It's crucial to note that most styluses require conductive contact with the user's fingers to function properly. Therefore, ensure the stylus still makes contact with your fingers while using it. You'll need: 1) This model printed out; 2) An OT sleeve; and 3) A compatible stylus for your device that fits into the clip (you may need to adjust the size based on your stencil's width or narrowness). I've uploaded both left-handed and right-handed versions. Two of my friends who are Quadriplegic use this device daily to access their phones. Additionally, I've included a pin-stick with a platform; you can either attach it to your phone case using Velcro or superglue. Another feature is a microphone platform that allows you to stick a phone case to its flat surface (or use Velcro). For this part, you'll need to purchase a microphone screw-top that fits your particular stand and replace the top half with the platform.
