Ocarina with integrated 45 degree mouth piece

I decided to merge (and improve) the 45 degree mouth piece I made with this particular Ocarina so everything prints together in one integrated unit. I included my Fusion 3D project and step file along with the .stl file Looks like I am the first to print (v16). I printed at 0.28 layer height at 100% scale. In Cura I rotated by 15 degrees to move the mouth piece closer to the bed, then I dropped the Z axis so the mouthpiece was as close to the bed as possible which puts the Ocarina vessel bottom below the bed which produces a flat bottom. This flat bottom means that a raft isn't needed AND I don't need a separate stand to hold it upright after printing! Cool. Even cooler is that the flat bottom is an optional feature. I used a brim and support set to "touching bedplate only" with a 60% overhang. I used eSun PLA Pro (a.k.a PLA+) light blue filament at 210c and 60c bed temp. It took just under 8 hours to print at 60mm/s print speed. I then used my sanding tool I designed just for this particular Ocarina ( https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:4690474 ) to clean up the labium edge that splits the air in the "voicing" hole to make the edge nice and sharp as well as smoothing the ramp and sides resulting in the upper few notes performing better. Did I mention that if you rotate by 15 degrees and then lower the Z axis so that the bottom of the mouthpiece is as close to the bed as possible, this puts a portion of the Ocarina vessel body below the bed and you end up with a flat bottom and then don't need a custom stand or have ugly raft scars. It stands upright on the bottom and rest on the mouthpiece. It should be a little over 2 mm in the center of the flat spot as well so it should be strong enough. If you want to build a stand anyway, I guess you could use that flat surface to mount tactical gear... haha Oh yea, it sounds pretty good too. The addition of the longer 45 degree angled mouthpiece modification appears to be a success. If you are in a hurry, try printing at 80.7% scale. It will be tuned for D#/Eb instead of C. It still has a very pleasant higher pitched sound and should print in about half the time (for me under 4 hours at the reduced scale) and use about half the filament. This might even make a cool functional Christmas ornament. If you are interested in experimenting with the design similar to this in Fusion 360 and/or want to try the fipple I tweaked, check out: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:4728769 Good Luck!
