One morning, I was walking through the woods when I heard a tree's whistle. I approached and spent some time searching for the source of the sound. I think it was a tree's bark, but I'm not sure; I recorded its sound. That sound reminded me of an ocarina, and quickly Miyazaki Hayao's Totoro movie came to mind, along with the forest spirits playing the ocarina. So "Waiwen" emerged as an ocarina whose character reminds these spirits. You will find two ocarina models: one for single-handed play and another for double-handed play. This ocarina can play an octave. Depending on the printed size, the notes will move on the musical scale. I'm sure kids will love it.
