"Ye who owns three Spiritual Stones stand with Ocarina of Time and play Song of Time" In Hyrule, during Ocarina of Time's era, Link's quest involves finding three Spiritual Stones to open Door of Time that seals away Master Sword in Temple of Time. Races protecting these Stones will only open minds to those knowing Royal Family melody. Three stones in game are: Kokiri's Emerald, Forest's Spiritual Stone held by Great Deku Tree; Goron's Ruby, Fire's Spiritual Stone a treasure held by Darunia; Zora's Sapphire, Water's Spiritual Stone held by Princess Ruto. During quest to unlock Sacred Realm and steal Triforce, Ganondorf, evil king of thieves, was refused Spiritual Stones by each guardian. In response, he cursed them with various blights using dark magic. To obtain stones preventing Triforce from falling into Ganondorf's hands, Link must free guardians from malevolence.
