OC3 screw cap

This is an Enhanced Screw Cap for the Karcher OC3. Please Study the Fitment Instructions Carefully or You Could Damage Your OC3. You Will Need a Standard Fish Tank Airline Check Valve to Complete This Project. This Mod Has Been Specifically Designed to Be Completely Reversible in Case You Want/Need to Revert Back to the OEM Cap. Printed in ABS 0.2mm Layer Height 100% Infill 2% Increase on All Axes Fitment Instructions: Check Both Parts Screw Together Smoothly, It Should Not Be Tight or Binding (the Tank Thread Part Has a Slight Chauffeur on One End, This Is to Face into the Cap). Glue/Silicone the Fish Tank Air Check Valve into the Center of the Cap, Orientated So It Allows Air into the Tank but Not Out. Without It, the Cap Would Obviously Leak, But If the Cap Were Solid, the Tank Would Cavitate and Cause Possible Damage or Degraded Performance of the Pump. DO NOT PRESS FIT THE TANK THREAD TO THE TANK, You Will Irreversibly Damage the Tank Lip. Hook One Side of the Tank Thread Under the Lip and Using a Small Flat Head Screwdriver to Push the Lip Up into the Thread, Work Your Way Around Providing Gentle Downward Pressure on the Tank Thread Until It Seats into Position. The Lip Should Sit in the Chauffeur of the Tank Thread as Pictured. Gently and Carefully Twist and Pull the Tank Thread Up by 1-2mm So You Can Apply a Bead of Glue/Silicone to the Bottom Section of the Tank Lip. Once Applied, Gently Twist and Push the Tank Thread Back Down So It Seats Correctly Again. You Can Give a Couple More Twists to Make Sure Any Glue/Silicone Is Evenly Distributed. Clean Up Any Over Spill Especially on the Top Where the Seal Will Be Made. I Used Standard Gorilla Glue, This Expands While It Sets So You Will Need to Continuously Mop Up Whilst It Sets. Once All the Glue/Silicone Has Cured Fully, Apply the Cap and You Are Ready to Go, No Rubber Seals Necessary. DO NOT OVER TIGHTEN THE CAP!, You Will Be Surprised How Little You Will Need to Tighten the Cap for It to Be Fully Waterproof. If You Attempt to Over Tighten It, You Will Just Rip the Tank Thread Free. To Remove the MOD, Simply Fit the Cap and Continue to Tighten Until the Glue/Silicone Bond Is Broken. Then Continue Twist and Pull and the Whole Thing Should Come Off. Peel Off Any Remaining Glue/Silicone and You Are Back to Where You Started.
