OBSOLETE - Hypercube Evolution Capacitive ABL

UPDATE 12/21/2018: THIS DESIGN IS NOW OBSOLETE. See https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:3303380 for the latest iteration of the Hot End Mount. This design can still be used with a reduction of 10 mm on the max end of X travel. ------------------------------- UPDATE 10/23/2018: Modified Hotend Mount: - Changed shape/location of cutouts for 5015 fan mount so fan sits level with mounting hole on top - Realigned cutout for Heatsink to match Retainer (see second pic) Updated Fusion 360 and STL files uploaded. ---------------------------------------------- Hey everyone! I'm building a Hypercube Evolution of my own and prefer using glass on heated bed for good print quality and protecting aluminum underneath. The inductive sensor can't sense bed through glass as it has low trigger distance and can't sense through glass. My CR-10 uses the TH3D EZABL system (which I love) and figured I'd remix hotend mount from original Hypercube Evolution to fit TH3D EZABL or any M18 Capacitive Proximity Sensor with at least 5 mm trigger distance. To add M18 sensor holder, I had to remove X Max Endstop (I use only X Min endstop and that works fine as bed dimensions are specified in Marlin to prevent over travel). Mount the sensor to hotend assembly using 2 M3 x 6mm socket head screws (Needs 2 threaded inserts in hotend mount) I've also included Fusion 360 files if you're interested in making mounts for other types of leveling sensors. Probe offsets: X: 34.50 Y: 0 Note: If you buy your own capacitive sensor instead of TH3D EZABL, then make sure it's a 5V sensor or build voltage divider to drop output voltage of sensor to 5V. Enjoy!
