Obsidian's Sword (WIP)

A Custom Prop Sword for Cosplayers! This Will Illuminate When Activated. The Included STL File Is Incomplete, But Don't Worry - The Design Is Nearly Complete, I'm Just Finishing Up Some Internal Details. As Soon As That's Done, I'll Upload Preliminary Design Files Divided Into Printable Sections And Begin Test Printing. For Now, I Advise Against Printing Until I've Made Further Adjustments To Ensure Everything Works Smoothly. Update! All The Parts Are Uploaded, Although I'm Still In The Process Of Testing My First Prints. Feel Free To Brave It If You Dare - Just Be Aware That Changes May Occur As I Continue To Refine The Design. To Assemble This Prop, You'll Need To Print Two Copies Of Each Part Except For The Core, Grip, And Pommel Components. Many Parts Are Designed To Interlock Using 1/8" Rods For Support, Along With A 1" Diameter Aluminum Tube Extrusion Through The Grip. I Recommend Using E6000 Adhesive To Secure The Pieces Together. The Core Can Accommodate LED Strips, As Well As A Microcontroller Like The Adafruit Trinket M0 And A USB Power Pack In The Grip. However, Be Cautious Not To Overload The Prop With Too Many Lights At Once. Update 2: I'm Continuing With The Printing Process And Making Some Adjustments To The Files. These Changes Have Yet To Be Uploaded, But You Can Expect Them To Arrive Over The Weekend Of March 9th. Update 3: New Blade Cores, Grip, And Missing Gem Components Are Now Available. I've Successfully Completed The Core Print And Moved On To The Edge Pieces, Next Up Will Be The Grip And Pommel, Followed By The Cross Guard. Update 4: It's Almost Complete - I May Do Some Minor Model Tweaks And Experiment With Battery Placement, But This Design Is Ready For Use If You Don't Plan To Activate The Lights.
