Hello :)\r\n\r\nThis is a computer drive housing that allows an HTC Vive Link Box to have its connection cables appear as if they're coming from inside the tower. It works seamlessly with the Corsair Obsidian 650D case because there are pre-drilled holes through which cables can be led from the back.\r\n\r\nThe drive blank is designed after the blanks that come with the case using OnShape CAD software.\r\nhttps://cad.onshape.com/documents/fbcedaf32641782f92695dc5/w/347982b74b249e5da6748a6a/e/15ac0907ea619d37099e0a7c\r\n\r\nFrom there, I created a new CAD version to craft a cradle for the Link Box. It fits snugly into the cradle and won't budge with gentle manipulation.\r\n\r\nI recommend printing on your best quality settings and rotating the model so that the face of the drive layers are horizontal for a more polished look. However, this requires additional supports to prevent structural integrity issues.\r\n\r\nFurthermore, I used 15% infill and 100% from 20mm to 22.2mm to maximize the strength of the tab extensions. A screenshot is attached to illustrate this process.\r\n\r\nThe drive blank took approximately 2.5 hours to print on low quality settings. With the Link Box, it took around 11 hours on high quality settings. Removing supports carefully will require an estimated million hours (exactly).
