In 1505, construction began in Guissona, Catalonia's midlands on "Obra de Fluvià" (or alternatively known as "Obra de santa Llúcia"), a residence for the Bishop of Urgell. The estate had been acquired by the bishop beforehand. Work was halted in 1514. Remaining architectural elements are situated near the confluence of the Fluvià River and its tributary, the Sió River. These elements were built in a late Gothic style. A square floor plan with a central courtyard characterizes the building's design.
