Near Guissona, a village situated in the heart of Catalonia's midlands, construction began on "Obra de Fluvià" (also known as "Obra de Santa Llúcia") in 1505. This ambitious project was undertaken by the Bishop of Urgell, who had recently acquired the estate with plans to build a majestic residence for himself. However, work on the site came to an abrupt halt in 1514, leaving behind only remnants of what could have been a truly remarkable structure. Today, one can still see the remaining architectural elements, crafted in a late Gothic style, nestled near the confluence of the Fluvià River and its tributary, the Sió River. The building's foundation was carefully laid out on a square floor plan, with a central courtyard serving as the heart of the residence.
