In a galaxy far, far away, a young farm boy named Luke Skywalker dreams of adventure beyond his desert planet's horizon. When Princess Leia Organa's stolen Death Star plans are hidden within the droid R2-D2, Luke becomes embroiled in a rebellion against the evil Empire. Accompanied by smuggler Han Solo and his trusty co-pilot Chewbacca, they join forces with Jedi Master Obi-Wan Kenobi to rescue the princess and destroy the Empire's powerful space station.
