I've been experimenting with my first 3D-printed lightsabers modeled after Obi-Wan Kenobi's hilt design from Episodes I and II, which has kept me occupied for a while. To create these lightsaber parts using Blender was an absolute pleasure. For printing, I chose to print each individual component separately without support material, this simplified the overall assembly process significantly. What made things a bit tricky was that each part only featured one solid color to ensure proper paint coverage. Upon initial inspection of my prototype, I found out that all parts required meticulous gluing before the lightsaber hilt could come together in its entirety. Recently I've tweaked the original model adding substantial heft and texture by making some alterations in depth so that the handle can fit nicely within a more comfortable grip for holding onto firmly without wobbling around.\
