Oberyn Martell steps off the ship and onto the sandy beaches of Dorne. He surveys his kingdom, the desert sands stretching out before him like an endless expanse of gold. The man is a Red Viper, infamous for his speed and agility on horseback, and for the deadly bite that precedes his blade. Oberyn stands in stark contrast to the stern figure of King Joffrey's guards as he descends the stone steps, the Dornish prince sporting fine golden hair down to his back and dressed all in golden colors with red sleeves like a Red Viper. Lena has made it very clear to Prince Oberyn Martell that any help from Tyrion will result in serious consequences for her. In order to ensure Tyrion stays behind, Lena decides to remove him forcibly and sets an attack in motion against the king's guards.
