Oarlock, rowlock, thole and holder suitable for BIC Sportyak boat

Why this project? The BIC Sportyak boat is for me the most suitable dinghy for one person. It's really lightweight, robust and indistructable. BUT it has a weak point - the oarlock and its holder part. These parts are made out of plastic and are very expensive, it they break. So I have decided to make my own spare parts. Material: 2x 3D print of the oarlock 2x 3D print of oarlock holder 4x screws Why two versions of oarlock? I have tested my materials and found out, that a 3mm bolt inside stengthens the oarlock. Of course, if you are able to print more robust materials like I have, there is a version without the bolt hole inside. Some important hints I have made my experiences already, so I have some hints for you the original oarlock breaks normally exactly near the start of the fork. It is the weakest point and have to stand maximum forces. Print these parts with infill 100%. The rest can be printed with infill 25% (see images). use robust material as PETG, ASA etc. always print the oarlock model laying down, so the lines are printed along vertical axis use the version with bolt, if you are using PETG. You don't have to, but make your own experiences. Be aware of this It's clear, that you are using this models on your own risk.
