Replacement Temple piece for Oakley Jury sunglasses designed by myself using Solidworks so the community can fix unique Oakleys. This part is known to break, but now you can replace it with ease. I printed it in PLA at 0.08mm resolution and achieved excellent results; however, 0.1mm should work just as well. I also printed a set in PETG and they performed flawlessly. Minor trimming will be required on the back by the screws and some minor adjustments may need to be made to the piece that slides into the frames. When inserting the screw pin through the top of the frame, make sure it's going in straight and aligning with the pocket in the frame. To ensure a smooth fit, tap the threaded hinge pole gently with needle nose pliers as you rock the temple back and forth until it seats completely. Then, screw the hinge pole in carefully to avoid stripping the threads in the frame. Additionally, there will be some minor trimming required on the poles that slide into the front of the temple. Sanding should work effectively here; I used side cutters and simply brought them down a little to achieve the desired fit. I encourage you to share this solution with others who have Jury sunglasses and need a replacement temple piece. You can find these replacement pieces in my Etsy shop at RedDotWonders.Etsy.Com, where you can purchase them directly from me. Please do not attempt to sell these replacements yourself; I worked hard to create them for your benefit.
