Oak & Iron - Ship Status Tracker Boards
thingiverse
In Oak & Iron, the status of each ship is regulated by various markers. Ship and skill upgrades, as well as fatique and damage levels, are marked by non-permanent marker or the brackets included with the game. As a third option, I designed status tracker boards for the various ship types, where the ship card associated with the board is placed in the center (73 x 122mm sleeves fit comfortably). Pins are used to mark the current status (fatique and damage) as well as the purchased upgrades (skill and ship upgrades). The different indentations are designed to hold tokens about the sailing state (Full Sails, Minimal Sails, Anchored, Aground, Landing Party) the ship state (Crippled and/or Shaken) and the faction (Captured Ship) or Ship ID. Captured ship tokens can also be used, for example, to indicate the flagship by inserting your own faction token in the upper left indentation of the flagship status board. Sailing state status tokens can be placed below the skill indentation. Shaken and Crippeld tokens can be placed in their indentations when the pin reach the last hole on the Fatique and Damage tracks, respectively. The optional crew and stout steps are additionally highlighted. Update (07.02.2023): A new version V2 of the ship status tracker boards is available. An additional token slot for storing faction/conquest ship/ship ID tokens has been added between the sail setting and the upgrade pin slot. Required ship status tracker boards for the following boxes: Oak & Iron: core box 4x board A (for the ship types Sloop, Corvette, Brigantine and Petite Frégate) 2x Board B (for the ship type Fluyt and Light Galleon). Oak & Iron: Gentlemen of Fortune 3x Board A Oak & Iron: Merchant Men 1x Board A 2x Board B Oak & Iron: Men of War 3x Board B Oak & Iron: Ships of the Line 3x Board B Oak & Iron: Blackbeard's Revenge 1x Board Revenge 1x Board Queen Anne's Revenge Note: It may be necessary to scale the pin down a little in the slicer if the pin in the original scale is too tight in the holes.
