OA vz 30 Armoured Car is a Czechoslovak-designed armored vehicle that saw service with Nazi Germany, Slovakia, Romania, and Hungary during World War II. Fifty-one units were produced, but the Germans quickly seized twenty-four of them when they occupied Bohemia-Moravia in March 1939. The Slovaks captured eighteen vehicles when they declared independence from Czechoslovakia at the same time, while Romania acquired nine more when Czech troops sought refuge there after the Hungarian invasion of Carpatho-Ukraine that month. Slovakian OA vz 30s played a significant role in several battles, including the Slovak-Hungarian War, the invasion of Poland, and the opening months of Operation Barbarossa.
