The Vought "Corsair" lineage dates back to the 1920s with the O2U Scouting and Observation Aircraft. The O3U version offered a better engine and improved airframe, enhancing its overall performance. Before WW2, US Navy's scouting squadrons utilized this biplane on capital ships like USS Arizona, while also used by Marines and US Army Airforce. Ten countries acquired export versions, including Japan (Nakajima E4N) and Germany, who employed it as a mail plane before the war and during WW2 in Luftwaffe service. A Propblur figure add-on is available to create propeller illusion, while flight controls, landing gear, and moveable parts are accessible through the scene tree for O3U's skeleton.
