MY O2 VALVE SPLITTER 2.0 – A Design Improvement My second design iteration retains the original concept while introducing a new shape for the body. It incorporates a spring mechanism to control oxygen flow. When a patient breathes through the attached hose, the spring reacts accordingly. The components of my design are: 1) Body, 2) Cap, 3) Rubber Controller, 4) Spring (Diameter: 20mm, Length: 20mm, Rod spring diameter: 0.2-0.3mm), and 5) Seal. To install, the seal is first placed in the body, followed by the controller, spring, and cap.
