Old Super Deformed, or O-SD for short, is a personal line of Gundam kits designed specifically with 3D printing in mind. The name O-SD also stands for Original Super Deformed, if you prefer that interpretation. This line is based on the original SD kits released by Bandai, namely G-generation Zero and G-generation F. These models are significantly shorter and more compact compared to standard Gundam kits, often lacking legs altogether. However, this simplicity comes with a requirement: they need automatic support during the printing process due to their complex design. Despite the complexity, building these models is relatively straightforward, thanks to their detailed design. A bit of sanding is necessary for a smoother finish, but once painted, they blend seamlessly into any gunpla collection. All pieces are available with or without built-in supports, offering flexibility in printing options.
