O Scale Excursion Car shell
thingiverse
Due to difficulties with printing in one piece, it was decided to split the model into smaller sections that can be assembled after printing. The roof is divided into two parts to accommodate smaller printers and has holes for attachment to pillars from both sides and ends. This is a shell design for an open-air excursion car, intended to complement my O-scale Cass Heisler. Unlike many HO scale cars available, this model is designed to be attached to a flatbed car, with metal railings to be added later. Once completed, pictures will be uploaded here after finishing the detailing and painting of one. As a newcomer to modeling, I welcome any suggestions for optimal settings that can improve the print quality. With plans to print several of these models, I'll make tiny adjustments for each one to achieve the best results possible. Feel free to share your ideas and improvements – all are welcome!
