O.R.B.Y. No. 6T-NR2

I'm stoked to finally have this player character finished for our project - I'm the Lead Artist on the team and I've been working tirelessly to bring this little guy to life. He's the hero of our game, and his energy shield is what sets him apart. It protects him from harm as he moves around, revolving with the plates in a seamless motion. His rings are like tiny springs, allowing him to bounce across terrain with ease thanks to magnetism that keeps them connected. Modeled from scratch in Maya, I crafted each detail by hand, from the texture of his shield to his vibrant colors. The alphas were created using Photoshop and Illustrator, adding an extra layer of depth to our character's design. His texture was textured and rendered through Substance Painter, with the energy shield getting its unique look through Substance Designer. And, as a bonus, this is actually my first character ever - I'm pretty proud of how it turned out!
