O-Ball
grabcad
An "O-Ball" is a versatile toy for babies, designed to aid in grip and holding development. My model boasts 12 smaller rings and 20 larger ones, all connected to a central ball featuring triangular connections for added strength. The ball has an outer diameter of approximately 97.5mm, with ring cross-section diameters measuring 3mm and a minimum wall thickness of 0.8mm. Creating this model required considerable time and effort, primarily through trial and error. It was built using Creo Parametric 2.0 for fun and skill enhancement in surface modeling and rendered animation, which took around 20 hours with KeyShot 4. The STEP file (.stp) and STL file (.stl) formats are available, supporting potential 3D printing.
