In brief: - Material cost roughly $600. - Ultimaker kinematics with 8mm linear axes and bronze graphite bearings. - 300x300x400mm printing area (320x300x400mm moving space). - Frame made from 3030 Bosch profiles (Z carrier from 2020). - Machine dimensions: 560mm wide, 540mm deep, and 750mm high (without feet). - Double Z axis with 12mm linear axes. - E3D V6 head. - Bowden transmission. - Titan extruder. - Belt tensioner for all non-enclosed straps! - X and Y motors and axles ratio is 1:2 for more precise movement and greater force. - Nothing hangs outside the frame! - Box designed for Lerdge-K controller and its optional modules. - Box designed for Lerdge board TFT display, with different versions holding the display at various angles. - BL touch fastening option. - All machine parts can be printed with a 200x200mm print area, almost all parts are self-supporting. - All printing parts of the machine have marks to make prints easier to distinguish. To build the machine, download STLs for free from your ad blocker browser and print them using low-power current. I printed six coil filaments before completing the final design of the machine.
