Connect two parts using a wire tie that's been recessed completely for maximum grip. I've added teeth to prevent slipping between connected components. You'll need a bag of 1000 small wire ties, part number 4101-6M - each one can handle up to 18 lbs of tension, so several of them should make a surprisingly strong and temporary bond.
