Nylon Purse with Silver Chain

thingiverse

This purse design is perfect for beginners in 3D printing. Measuring 200mm long, 70mm wide, and 110mm tall, it's created using CAD with just the fillet and cage commands to move curves as desired. The nylon material feels luxurious but is easy to clean. For assembly, follow the instructions on the instructable (http://www.instructables.com/id/3D-Printing-Purses-Belts-and-other-Pliable-Fashio/) and export it as an STL file. Slice with 2 perimeters, 3 solid layers at a 0.25mm layer height. Print using nylon at 250°C on a PCB, making sure the first layer is close to the print table. Printing might take 2-4 hours depending on your printer speed. After printing and cutting loose threads, poke holes with a soldering iron as shown in the instructions. Attach four eyelets to each corner, followed by keyrings and 14-inch silver chains on both sides.
