Nydia, Blind Flower Girl of Pompeii Randolph Rogers created this sculpture between 1853 and 1854, but it wasn't carved until 1859. The piece is made from marble and measures 54 x 25.25 x 37 inches (137.2 x 64.1 x 94 cm). Nydia belongs to the classification of sculpture. It was given as a gift by James Douglas in 1899, with accession number 99.7.2. Ana Marva Fernandez captured Nydia using Autodesk 123D Catch at the Metropolitan Museum of Art - New York during the Met MakerBot Hackathon in June 2012.
