In this manufacturing process, a two-part mold is constructed for injection molding the bracket. Standard or CNC mill practices are utilized. The five load interfaces are machined using these standard techniques. An optional gold plating can be applied to protect the titanium from burning at temperatures above 800 degrees Celsius. This entry focuses on conventional machining methods for easy fabrication. A 64% reduction is achievable.
