NYC vs Chicago Chess (BB18)

This is a replica of the chess pieces from the game in Big Brother season 18. Abe Ruiz Design created the set for the show, and though some custom pieces are not yet available, you can buy similar sets at http://www.city-chess.com. If you're feeling lucky, you can print each side as a full set, but the full New York plate might be too big for some printers. The eight-piece sets are all small enough for 4" plates. Individual models are also provided to allow creation of custom arrangements. Many thanks to the authors of the "Remixed From" sources included in this set! Please see the source thing pages for original attribution. How I Designed This New York Side Most buildings were available in Skyscraper Chess by sitts314. The three I had to find were the Woolworth building, One World Trade Center, and VIA 57 W. I found the Woolworth building at https://3dwarehouse.sketchup.com/model.html?id=62ee12c761393dd485c2f608dcc5e66. The source for One WTC is Freedom Tower by mphelpsm. I found a skeleton of VIA 57 W and recreated it in OpenSCAD with help from Bezier Mesh Surface V1.0 by WilliamAAdams. I used OpenSCAD to import, scale, and arrange the pieces. Unfortunately, some problems arose with the GCAL rendering engine, so I used Blender to create some multi-piece plates. Chicago Side All buildings needed were available in Chicago Updated by jkurstin22. Just minor scaling and arranging in OpenSCAD was needed.
