You can join the NWU Solar Challenge team by simply printing as many of these parts as you'd like and sending them our way. If your prints reach us in time, they'll be used in the NWU solar car competing in the Bridgestone Solar Challenge in Australia. Instructions for printing: Print the parts as they're oriented in the STL files. Use ABS, PC or Nylon to print the parts. Use supports when printing. Raft or Raftless printing is possible. Print using layer heights of 0.1, 0.2 or 0.25. Each complete battery holder (2 clips and 2 holders) weighs only 6.5g. To produce a complete battery pack containing 13 cells, you'll need to print: 26x clips 26x holders 4x optional print files We've also added Cross_conn_rev8, Duel_conn_rev5 and Single_conn_rev5 files, which are used to fix stacked battery packs together - these do require some tuning of your print settings. Alternatively, you can use the "Advanced user - xxx" files. The battery packs are stackable in two directions as shown in the attached picture.
