Hi friends of the night. You might have experienced the problem with the covers of the NVG. They only fit halfway properly, if you turn the optics to 0 - but even then, one or the other drops on the way to the machine, allowing drizzle to come onto the optic. After the mission, when you want to put the covers back on, you see, that they are tangled all together. So I went for a new design - printed as well as done in Epoxy (you'll find the file for the silicon form here as well). With a rubber band with holes in the middle, no tangling anymore. Can be taken of with one hand, reapplied when the goggles are up also very easy. Just the deeper part on top and place the shallow one on the other side. I use 4mm foam rubber for the deeper side and 2 mm foam rubber for the shallow side. The button to hold the rubber was placed at an angle in the slicer, so that the oval and round part start to print in the same layer - a brim is helpful.
