NuYen for Shadowrun Crossfire
thingiverse
Those little cardboard NuYen tokens that come with Shadowrun Clossfire sure are easy to misplace, aren't they? I've lost enough of them that it's become quite common for me to run low on 1 NuYen pieces during a game. Plus I think they'd look much better printed as gold-coloured plastic than printed on cardboard. I printed two sets of 36 each of the 1 NuYen pieces. I didn't print any 5 NuYen pieces because in my experience, the only time they get used is when we run out of 1 NuYen pieces, which I don't anticipate being a problem anymore. Anyway, the only difference between the two sets is that the one on top in the pictures was printed with concentric fill and the one on bottom was printed with rectilinear fill. Both are the same picture, one taken with flash and one without because the flash washed out the details. I had some rejects in both sets. My printer isn't perfectly calibrated and at less than 1mm high, these things are NOT forgiving of less-than-perfect first layers. The rectilinear fill had much higher success though, with only three rejects as compared to nine with the concentric fill. Print Settings Printer: Printrbot Jr. Rafts: No Supports: No Resolution: 0.1mm Infill: 100% Notes: The 0.1mm resolution is crucial with these. They're only 0.7mm tall, so if you try to print them at any lower resolution, I can promise they will not turn out. Perfect or near-perfect calibration and leveling of your printer is a must with these.
