There's someone that's been bothering me about their lack of knowledge and I've already reported them to MakerBot. This has got to stop so I'm considering removing this Thing from Thingiverse... Anyway... Thanks to everyone who downloaded and uses my LIBRARY regularly. Thanks to all the people who make constructive comments and to those who create a derivative Thing out of my Library. That's an old piece of code - four years have been passed, and downloads just keep going. THANK YOU A very simple OpenSCAD library. EDIT2: I've added a new bolt type. The next version will include Customizer support, I swear. EDIT: Hi again! I'm on vacation but still working on this library. I've updated it to version 1.91 from the v0.9 published before. I've included the "threads.scad" lib directly into mine library to make it easier to work with. I've added a lot of features, including a new module called washer(). I've cleaned up a little the code and commented some lines, but not everything, sorry. I've added a disclaimer, some examples for every module, and a full rendering of any bit you can create with this library and OpenSCAD. Just to remind you, thanks to Dan Kirshner - thanks to him, threads created with his and my library are mechanically correct and adhere to the ANSI and ISO standards. The next version will support MakerBot Customizer and some new module bits. Anyway, take a look at the code to learn how to make perfect nuts and bolts that will flawlessly fit into your own designs. It gives you the ability to create nuts, bolts, and grubs with metric and imperial pitches and measures. If you select imperial, you have to put numbers in the imperial way (for example 1/8, 3/8) and not mixing types in the variables. Examples are in the SCAD file. Use it your way, but if you modify the code, you HAVE to leave my copyright as it is, just like mentioned in the GPL3 licence.
