Our range knobs were terrible quality. The plastic around the dial column was super thin and didn't even fit properly over the shaft leaving lots of play, even when the reinforcing metal collar was inserted. As a result, they were both broken in a matter of months.I was very pleased to find that another user had already done a similar projecthttps://www.thingiverse.com/thing:3345800.The only change I needed to make was to modify the inner column to fit my particular "half-moon" shape of my range dial shafts.It is approximately 7.5mm internal diameter with 5mm measured from the cropped edge.
