I printed Nutkins for my wife, and she adored it. However, whenever wires held by Nutkins provided excessive lateral force, and he was prone to falling over. To offer a bit of stability assistance, I swiftly created this alongside help from an existing acorn model. Time-lapse videos of the things I print are available here: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCQ9nW8XQAPWKGGKRd9LFQNQ Print Settings: Rafts: None Supports: None Resolution: 0.2mm Infill: 15-100% Post-Printing: None How I Designed This I took inspiration from https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:13513 and then made significant alterations. One side of the original was flattened, a slot cut into it, and utilized as a base for Nutkins (https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:196200). The 123D Design files are available if any changes wish to be made. There are various sizes available. The large model shown in images is pictured here. They're perfect as standalone pieces in the center of Nutkins. For those who prefer two, one at either end, using small or medium models would be ideal. Alternatively, there's a partial cutout version, an end stop that might prove useful if configured more like bookends. Possibly best used with smaller sizes. Those interested in exploring this idea should let me know. I'll gladly combine them if asked to do so. The original 123D files are also available for any who'd love to play with the designs.
