nutcracker

This is a custom nutcracker that I designed from scratch.\r\nIt consists of two separate pieces, resembling a screw in its functionality.\r\nThe design works exceptionally well for cracking hazelnuts and walnuts.\r\nTo effectively use the nutcracker on larger walnuts, you should scale it up by 120%.\r\nFor optimal performance, choose a high infill density to make the nutcracker stronger and more durable, ensuring it can withstand heavy use without deforming or breaking. I printed mine with a 60% infill and was pleased with its functionality.\r\n\r\nWhen creating the base, part number two, you have the option of using supports, depending on your printer's capabilities when handling bridges.\r\nI tested both scenarios - with and without supports - and found that it worked successfully in either case.\r\nHowever, I did notice a slight improvement when using supports.
