The Nutcracker with Conical Chamber This design takes around 7.5 hours to print and requires approximately 125 grams of PLA material. It effectively cracks walnuts measuring up to 35mm in size, as well as almonds. However, the printed nutcracker has a degree of flexibility due to its construction in PLA. If you opt to print it using an alternative material, please share your experience with me. Before use, the axle requires slight sanding to prevent excessive snugness. Additionally, you can enhance functionality by adding a spring, as the pockets are designed to accommodate 4.5mm springs – I personally sourced one from an automatic pen.
