Nut trap size test
thingiverse
I downloaded a "nut trap" in OpenSCAD for 3mm nuts right off the bat. You know, the ones that are 5mm across. But I couldn't get the nut to fit into the hole, so I decided to print out test strips in various sizes: 5mm, 5.5mm, 6mm, 6.5mm and 7mm. Just print out a test strip and see what size you need to make your nut trap in order to fit your 3mm nut snugly. For me, it won't go into a 5.5mm hole, but it fits loosely into a 6mm one. I'd give credit to the original module creator if I could track down their work again. Unfortunately, all I have is the link where I found it: https://github.com/Stemer114/324c382a528d10b43759
