Parametric nut for guitars and other string instruments. You can adjust the overall dimensions and also the string diameters. Depending on the number of values you put in the string_diameter array the design will also produce parts suitable for bass guitars etc. Note: I intentionally only provide the OpenSCAD source file rahter than STL files. Please follow these easy steps to get the STL file which fits to your instrument: 1. install openSCAD: https://www.openscad.org (it is free of charge) 2. open the scad file of this thing 3. adjust the parameters as you like (overall dimensions, string diameters, etc.) 4. render the design by pressing F6 5. export to STL by pressing F7 Version 0.2 comes with an option for switching between left- and right-hand guitars Version 0.3 supports instruments with other than six strings Version 0.4 comes with a height compensation feature where you can individually adjust the height position of each string Version 0.5 comes with the option to align the centers of the strings or the bottom of the strings Version 0.6 prints out the bottom placements of each string (after all compensation and layout operations) to verify if the result will fit to your instrument Version 0.7 comes with an option to print the part "in the air" with some support below in order to prevent elephant foot effects and ensure exact dimensions
