With these fasteners, you can secure hex-nuts by hand using just two or three fingers. Five dimensions are available (M3, M4, M5, M6, and M8). Printing is a breeze, requiring no supports or rafts (check out the printing section for more information). You can secure standard hex-nuts (like DIN 980) as well as locking nuts (such as DIN 985). The hollow space that holds the hex-nut features an additional torus-shaped hole on top, ensuring smooth fitment of locking nuts. The images showcase the M3, M4, M5, and M6 versions; I haven't printed the M8 model yet. Your feedback is greatly appreciated - have fun printing! UPDATE 16.04.2017 Please note that the nut hollows are designed to be very tight, allowing for secure fastening without nuts slipping through. Depending on your slicer or printer's accuracy, it's recommended to print the M3 version first and verify if a M3 nut fits properly. If necessary, adjust the STL file in your slicer accordingly. Print Settings: Printer: bq Hephestos 2 Rafts: No Supports: No Resolution: 0.2 Infill: 30% or more Notes: Infill settings depend on desired rigidity - I used 50%.
