I took a shot at creating the first shoulder pad design, aiming for an industrial, hammer-forged aesthetic. The rough, rugged appearance was my goal - think distressed metal, with edges that looked like they'd been shaped by a blacksmith's fire. I wanted to evoke a sense of strength and resilience, as if the armor itself had been forged in battle.
