The ancient sanctuary is situated in the heart of Sardinia, within the picturesque municipality of Irgoli. Nestled near the majestic mount Senes, it follows a natural path that has long connected two lush valleys since ancient times. The sacred area comprises a temple with a "temenos" and a circular structure, offering a glimpse into the region's rich cultural heritage. Not far below lies the revered spring of Su Notante, a site steeped in history and mystique. Located in Irgoli, Sardinia, this archaeological gem is nestled near Monte Senes (862 meters above sea level). Along an ancient natural route, two fertile valleys once played a crucial role in connecting the coast to the island's interior. The sanctuary itself consists of a sacred area featuring a temple and lies just below the sacred spring of Su Notante. https://youtu.be/v93_cNi6WRk Organizer: Irgoli Municipality Research: Archaeologist Laura Lai - DipNET, University of Sassari (Prof. S.
