Nupperibo and Nupperibo Mature

Please consider joining our Tribe Nupperibos, also called blind devils, are amongst the least powerful of the infernal kind, only slightly above lemures, spawned from the souls of the incompetent and indolent. They are bloated and beyond obese, grotesquely so, their arms and legs are almost useless appendages of blubber and their eyes and mouths sewn shut. Almost without any personality and intelligence, they show only blind obedience and delight in torturing helpless mortals, less powerful than even they. There are several ways for Nupperibo to come into being. Firstly, they are made out of those souls wicked enough to deserve Hell, but not enough to become lemures; those who were lazy and indolent and who’s evil and malice in life was that of inaction and indifference. Secondly, a soul left in Hell unattended for sufficiently long time will become a Nupperibo by itself. Thirdly, a devil can be demoted to Nupperibo. And lastly, some say – but in strict secrecy – that Hell spawns Nupperibos out of its very essence. Sometimes, after uncountable ages, Nupperibos undergo a metamorphosis to a new form. Unlike other devils, who transform only through torture and suffering inflicted upon them in order to transform them, Nupperibos achieve these new forms naturally. Their stomachs burst and a veritable forest of tendrils burst out, draining life and energy from everything it touches. Other devils take very good care to either destroy or promote Nupperibos before that happens, but sometime when a specimen slips through the cracks in infernal administration, the hunt for them is led by the lord of that infernal circle personally, which shows just how much lords of Hell consider those matured Nupperibos to be dangerous even to them.
