Numbered Creature Tokens
thingiverse
These tokens replace bulky miniature groups in tabletop RPGs like Pathfinder with efficiency and speed. Each token sports an accessible numerical side along with an 'x' on the reverse to show when creatures have been incapacitated. Color-coded collections of these help my group manage epic encounters effortlessly. To ensure top quality, I undergo a painstaking process involving intricate steps: printing the tokens first, gluing a numbered token to an "x" token after drying the glue completely. Sanding and cleaning each piece thoroughly follows, then comes the laborious task of painting each one individually using distinct base and accent colors. To simplify things, a lower-quality approach might involve swapping downed units with single "x" tokens or making them from colored plastics. My design originated in Google Sketchup where I sketched out detailed renderings, later refining them with Slic3r for printing precision and accuracy. These tokens materialize with my Printrbot LC printer in natural PLA after feeding Repetier Host commands with seamless efficiency.
